Easy Spooky Skeleton Cake
Getting into the Halloween spirit!
My kids loved this fun skeleton cake. It was super easy to make.
Step 1: Go to Michael's to buy a $0.69 bottle of paint for a school project.
Step 2: Leave Michael's $50 later with this super cute skeleton cake pan in your bag.
Step 3: Whip up some Duncan Hines Devil's Food cake mix and bake it in your new pan.
Step 4: Trace the bones with white frosting.
That's it! Very easy and fun, but next time I might split it into 2 layers so I can add some frosting in the middle - I like a little more frosting on my cakes! :)
You can also use the leftover cake batter to make a mini cake (with a more respectable amount of frosting, of course).
